Leebug: social networking buzz

The Leebug Virtual Booth, or v-Booth, is the heart of this website. Sure the site is a great way to filter through attendees, make connections and set up meetings more efficiently before the day of the event, but the v-Booth is truly unique.

The v-Booth was created as an additional branding and product distribution angle for event sponsors and exhibitors.  But the truth is that anyone can set up a v-Booth, you don’t even have to be attending the events, let alone be sponsoring or exhibiting. If your company has a product of interest to the attendees, post a v-Booth.

On a v-Booth you can upload a logo, contact details, description, marketing materials and list any promotions you may be having.  You can attach profiles of yourself or colleagues to the booth as booth attendants, or Representatives, for an interactive presence.  Attendees will see your profile attached to your booth and can enquire directly to you about your product.  Additionally, any Meet Ups you create, such as a demo or a cocktail networking event, will be posted to your v-Booth. v-Booths can also be color customized for additional branding.

When a v-Booth is created, there are several areas on Leebug where your logo and company description is displayed.  In an event listing, the v-Booths are listed in the e-Exhibition Hall.  They are also listed on the event home (Overview) page and on the Promotions page. Also, every event attendee has a v-Booth Feeds section on their home page which pulls your logo and description and links back to your v-Booth.

v-Booths are currently free, though we do plan to charge for them once we pull the beta tag off the site. So go find an event and set one up now.

For event hosts, those of you who work for event companies and are posting events on Leebug, our plan is to do a revenue share with you on the sale of the v-Booths.  Please contact me if you would like to learn more.
