We are thrilled to announce the launch of Leebug Mobile, the companion app for the Leebug event communities.  The app features a full digital event guide and integration with the online delegate community. We have harnessed the power of new HTML5 technologies allowing the app to run consistently across all smartphones and tablets, and to run offline (when there is no internet connection).

Leebug Mobile is loaded with features to facilitate navigating the conference and connecting with the right attendees.  Event producers will take advantage of our easy to use content management system, notification system, polling features and ROI analytics*.

Powering the Social Media World Forum Asia

On September 22 – 23 in Singapore, Six Degrees Events is hosting the Social Media World Forum Asia – and Leebug is excited to be providing the official social networking community for the event.

The aim of the event is to bring together the Asian Social Media community to debate the hot topics for 2010.  A fully packed agenda looking into how brands can use social media as a marketing tool, the latest tips and tricks, how brands are moderating and measuring their conversations and results, and how the major social networks are positioning themselves within the Asian market. The event will also look at how marketers can use apps and mobile social media to engage on the phone, we also have a day break out covering social TV, and the impact of social media on the TV industry, and the emergence of the TV app store.

Instructions on Using Leebug Mobile

Leebug has a mobile web app – and it’s fantastic! It’s like having the event community in your pocket.  It’s a web app so it will work on any smart phone with a browser (iPhone, BlackBerry, Android etc).  The web app is a stripped down version of Leebug website and it’s formatted for the smaller screen on a phone.

On the app you can view profiles, make status updates, view event participants and send messages.

Leebug Mobile – Your Connection at the Event

WP-EventsVersion 1.0 of the other half of Leebug has been created – the Leebug mobile app. The app is a streamlined version of Leebug, formatted for the mobile browser and built with the objective of easily connecting participants at events. And we are super excited about it.

The app is web based rather than being device specific, such as an iPhone app, because it easily handles our initial mobile goals while not excluding any mobile platforms. The goal of the app is provide quick, easy access to the participants of the events that they are attending.  Note, you have to RSVP to events through the main site before using the app. Only the events that you have RSVP to are showed on the app.
